Meet Our Mascot
Susan
You might have seen me on SUSO’s posts and in the SUSO logo, but I have not properly introduced myself. I am Susan, the Spectacular Piece of Clay, and I could not be more excited to meet and work with some talented kids!
Why is Susan a piece of clay?
Great question! We made Susan a piece of clay because we wanted to show kids that no matter what mold you are given, you can change to be something else if you want to. Clay normally comes as a cube and can stay like a cube, but you can also shape clay into whatever you like! A yummy burger, a fearless dinosaur, or just random blobs, is the shape you will usually find Susan in. Just like how clay has the possibility to morph, so do our lives, and it is SUSO’s goal to show and share that message with our community!
